I have been searching for fun, easy recipes to make and freeze. I whipped together this 3 ingredient recipe and didn’t know what to call it. Nutella Balls were born I want to have a few things ready to pull out of the freezer and pop into my sons lunch for school. We bought a YUMBOX this year and I plan on making bento style lunches for him. I also work outside the home and don’t have tons of time. I plan on Sundays being my prep day and I can make enough for 5 lunches. I do want him to have some variety so I want thing so be able to freeze so I can mix an match items.
very ripe banana
1. put the graham crackers in the food processor and pulse until they are crunched up completely.
2. add the nutella and the over ripe banana and pulse some more.
3. spoon out this mixture into balls on a lined cookie sheet.
4. Freeze for 2 hours or overnight.
I packaged mine up as singles wrapped in cling wrap and all together in a big zip top freezer bag. These are rich so one at a time in enough! What a yummy desert in my sons lunch. I can pull it out of the freezer and it will be ready to eat by lunch time!
