Pinterest Tuesday…Winter Lotion

Me

Okay we are deep into winter aren’t we? We have had snow days and blizzards and colds. Is your skin feeling the effects of this weather as well? Well do I have a deal for you! My skin is usually rough and scaly during the winter. It itches and flakes, all the warm showers I take do not help one bit.  I found this recipe for “winter lotion” and ever since I started using it every day my skin loves me again!

This recipe was actually the first thing I ever made from Pinterest.  I pinned this idea from Patchwork Times. It was soooo easy and quick. Just three ingredients. 16 oz. baby lotion,8 oz. Vaseline, 8 oz. Vitamin E Cream. I found all of them at walmart!  You put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them with your hand mixer until it looks like icing. Then you put the lotion into containers. Wallah!

You know, I’ve seen this one pinned before & I’d been curious about it because my kids have mild eczema & they get really itchy in the winter. I’ll have to try this one out!
