Did you know that Lavender Essential Oils can eliminate nervous tension, relieve pain, disinfect the scalp and skin, enhance blood circulation and treat respiratory problems? I’m learning a lot about essential oils lately. So when I was asked to review this product I was delighted. I must disclose that I received this essential oil for free in order to conduct this review.
I know there is a huge debate about essential oils. I know that there are a few companies that claim their essential oils are the only way to go. To be honest I get my oils from a variety of places. Just like anything else, if you shop around you can get a good deal on your oils. This is why I won’t be supporting one company over another.
Lavender essential oil induces sleep which has made it a common recommendation for an alternative treatment of insomnia. It has a calming scent which makes it an excellent tonic for the nerves and anxiety issues. Therefore, it can also be helpful in treating migraines, headaches, depression, nervous tension and emotional stress. It can be used as a bug repellant because the smell of lavender essential oil is potent for many types of bugs like mosquitoes, midges, and moths. Apply some of the lavender oil on the exposed skin when outside to prevent these irritating bites.
When I received my bottle of Lavender essential oil the first thing I did was put 10 drops in a spray bottle with some water. I gave it to my four year old son and told him it was “Monster juice” we went to his room and sprayed his bed and floor. I also have put a few drops in his humidifier at night and told him it was to help keep the monsters away.
